In the year 1989, a group of friends decided to establish a new brotherhood in the town of “La Rambla” and its name will be: “La Hermandad Penitencial y Cofradía de Nazarenos de la Caridad, Santísimo Cristo de los Remedios y María Santísima  de la Merced de La Rambla”

The characteristic of this Brotherhood are: The hard work, and the austerity, spending their outlay only in the things that they need, and they dedícate the rest of the money to the Charity not only in “La Rambla”, in other poor places like the Philippines,  Perú… Since the year 2008 we must emphasise the management of the Food Bank that are doing in group “Cáritas parroquial” and “La Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción”. We must ‘acknowledge that they do this work due to the enforce of the citizens of the town and the components of the Brotherhood.

In the year 2014, we celebrated the XXV anniversary of its foundation. The Citizens of “La Rambla” celebrated this important event with a mass in the parish that had the same name and an Procession of the Virgin for the first time on the streets of “La Rambla”. In 2014 we celebrated too the XC anniversary of the blessing of the Virgin. In 1924 the Virgin arrived in La Rambla and because of its blessing, in La Rambla we can saw an procession. This saint object doesn´t go with the brotherhood on the Tuesday of the Holy week
