Nowadays this fountain only serves a decorative function, although you can drink water from a small tap just behind it.
HISTORY
In the past, the inhabitants of the village used to water their cattle there, and women used to hand wash clothes in the public washhouse which was in the back, where the municipal swimming pool is today.

The fountain is a brickwork consisting of a rectangular shaped pediment and a circular pool attached to it. In the middle of the pool, there is a pillar with a round basin which spouts water.
